Sacramento Waldorf School provides more than just education to the children in Kindergarten through 12th grade who enroll here. Our 22-acre Fair Oaks campus provides a safe place to discover the self, build courage to communicate articulately and confidently, and develop a true love of learning that carries students through life with wonder and curiosity. Established in 1959, Sacramento Waldorf School is one of the oldest and largest Waldorf schools in North America and the only AWSNA-accredited high school locally, with a rich tradition of deep learning and connection to the environment, on a beautiful campus bordering the American River that includes a 3.5-acre farm embedded in the curriculum. Sacramento Waldorf School fully integrates the arts with STEM academics for a full, rich curriculum. Specialty subjects include handwork, blacksmithing, biodynamic farming and more. The Kindergarten has its own intimate space with a dedicated, age-appropriate playground and two nurturing classrooms. The Lower School is housed in a lingering trail of classroom buildings bathed in sunlight.
